The Junior League of Reno Celebrates “International Find the Good Day” on September 18, 2025 – Uniting Communities Through Acts of Kindness and Positivity.

Community invited to fill Karma Boxes, spread kindness, and support local women and families

RENO, Nev. — Kindness is contagious. On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the Junior League of Reno (JLR) will join Leagues across the globe in celebrating Find the Good Day, a nationwide movement that honors small acts of good that create big impact.

This year, the Junior League of Reno is focusing its efforts on the Karma Box Project, by stocking boxes across Reno with food and hygiene essentials to support women, children, and families in need and inviting the community to do the same.

You don’t have to be a Junior League member to participate. Find the Good Day is for everyone. Whether it’s through a good deed, volunteer initiatives, or simply spreading positivity through kind gestures, every contribution has the power to create lasting change.

How to get involved with the Karma Box Project:

• Find a Karma Box:  Karma Box Project Map  
• Bring what you can. Nonperishable foods, hygiene items, and household basics are always needed.
• Share your good act. Take a photo of your contribution and tag the @JuniorLeagueReno on social media with #FindTheGoodDay #JuniorLeague #InternationalFindtheGoodDay @JuniorLeagueReno to inspire others.
• Make a donation. Financial contributions directly to the Junior League of Reno allow us to continue expanding our impact—funding community programs, volunteer training, and initiatives that empower women and children year-round. Donations can be made online at Junior League of Reno Inc.

Find the Good Day is an annual initiative launched by the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) to unite Leagues across four countries in a collective day of service. The goal is simple: inspire good deeds, acts of kindness, and tangible support that strengthen communities.
