Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on December 1, 2020.
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This idea is also the heart of the Junior League mission. With roots dating back more than 70 years, the Junior League of Reno is committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
