Kids in the Kitchen

Looking for a fun, hands-on way to teach your kids about healthy eating? Join us for Kids in the Kitchen, a free and interactive cooking class hosted by the Junior League of Reno in collaboration with Roundabout Catering. This is an incredible opportunity for children ages 7-12 to learn how to prepare nutritious meals, develop essential kitchen skills, and build lifelong healthy habits.

Through Kids in the Kitchen, your child will:

  • Learn how to prepare easy, nutritious meals
  • Discover the importance of healthy eating habits
  • Gain confidence working safely in the kitchen
  • Have fun with hands-on activities led by expert chefs from Roundabout Catering

We believe that cooking together is one of the best ways to bond as a family while fostering essential life skills. Whether your child is an aspiring chef or just curious about the kitchen, these classes are the perfect way to spark their interest in nutritious eating.

Their team is passionate about bringing families together through food and sharing their expertise in a fun, engaging way. How to Register

Space is limited, and these classes fill up quickly! Registration is required for each class and includes a waiting list option in case spots become available. In order for this program to welcome as many families as possible please only register for one class per family.
